Looking for an Ampang interior design portfolio that shows what’s possible with the right planning and budget? At Brezza One Residency, our team transformed a 1,073 sq ft condo into a modern, functional home, with a total renovation cost of RM86,000 (around RM80 per sq ft).

In Ampang, full renovation packages usually cost RM75–RM100 per sq ft, while design-only fees range from RM7–RM10 per sq ft. Final costs vary depending on materials, carpentry finishes, and customization.

This project covered the foyer, living room, kitchen, and bedrooms. From space planning to custom carpentry and styling, our team managed the entire makeover — creating a balance of modern functionality and warm finishes.

Our team has completed over a dozen condo and landed home makeovers across Klang Valley, Penang, and Johor, giving us a clear view of how design decisions impact both cost and livability.

before renovation - brezza one residence living room

When we first inspected the unit, the space felt plain and lacked warmth. The kitchen had limited storage, the living area felt disconnected, and the bedrooms needed a more personal touch.

Through careful planning and custom design solutions, we reimagined each corner of the home. The before-and-after photos clearly highlight the transformation—from a standard condo unit to a personalised home that blends functionality with style.

the north design team discuss with owner on design process

The client requested a design that celebrated cultural roots while staying modern. We proposed a Modern Chinese-Oriental styling concept, which uses neutral tones, warm wood finishes, and subtle oriental elements. This approach gave the home a timeless look while ensuring practicality for daily living.

Lighting played a key role. Soft cove lighting in the living room and warm bedside lighting in the bedrooms created a cosy atmosphere. Natural textures and carefully chosen materials added richness without overwhelming the space.

We recommended this style not only to reflect the client’s cultural values but also to enhance long-term resale potential — a common consideration among Ampang homeowners looking for both comfort and investment value.

Foyer – Shoe Cabinet

A combination of a shoe cabinet and extra storage for a big family. We maximised the space by integrating built-in compartments and included a practical stool within the carpentry, making it highly functional for the homeowner.

Entrance Area – Altar Cabinet

This altar cabinet was a special request from the client. Designed together with feng shui considerations, every dimension was customised using the feng shui ruler, ensuring harmony, good fortune, and prosperity for the household.

Living Room Design – Brezza One Residency Ampang

The living room was reconfigured to create an open flow between the entrance, seating, and dining areas. A custom TV feature wall with storage cabinets was designed to reduce clutter and maximise space. Warm cove lighting and a neutral palette made the room feel inviting.

Kitchen Renovation – Ampang Condo

The kitchen was one of the biggest upgrades. Sleek cabinetry with quartz countertops, vertical storage solutions, and separated wet and dry areas improved efficiency. Since the kitchen is a core space for the family, the design focused on practicality and maximising storage while staying true to the overall colour scheme and design concept.

Master Bedroom Interior Design

The master bedroom was transformed with a built-in wardrobe and a calming feature wall with soft lighting behind the bed. Warm tones enhanced comfort, while thoughtful storage solutions balanced functionality with aesthetics.

Bedroom 2 – Flexible Space (Female)

Designed as a versatile room, this bedroom is for young female to live & study. The lighter wood palette and a built-in dressing table were tailored for a female occupant, while a minimalist layout kept the space functional and cosy.

Bedroom 3 – Kids Room

Created for children, this bedroom embraces a more warm and playful concept compared to the other spaces. Cozy design elements, practical storage, and a cheerful atmosphere make it both lively and functional.

Bathrooms – Remains original

Owner decided to remains the bathrooms with original furnish, it has considered kind of complete.
